- Location data: real-time GPS location, collected only when the Group Locator feature is active
- Payment information: transaction records — we do not store card numbers, as payment processing is handled entirely by Paystack
- Usage data: app activity logs used for performance improvement and debugging
3. Why We Collect It
Your data is collected and used for the following purposes:
- To process Hajj and Umrah bookings with your chosen tour operator
- To submit visa applications on your behalf to the relevant authorities
- To enable Group Locator and SOS alerts within your travel group
- To facilitate P2P money exchange with verified agents on the platform
- To send booking confirmations, visa status updates, and other service notifications
4. How We Store and Protect It
We take the security of your data seriously and employ the following measures:
- All data is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) with encryption at rest and in transit
- Passport images are stored securely and are only accessible to your assigned tour operator
- Location data is not stored permanently — it is active only during live Group Locator sessions and discarded afterwards
- We apply industry-standard security practices and conduct regular security reviews of our systems
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data to advertisers or any unrelated third party. We share your data only as necessary to deliver our services:
- Your booking data is shared with your chosen tour operator to fulfil your travel package
- Your passport data is shared with visa processing partners for the purpose of your visa application only
- Your transaction data is shared with Paystack solely for payment processing
- We do not share your data with government authorities unless legally required to do so
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- You can request a copy of all data we hold about you at any time by emailing support@khidmat.ng
- You can request deletion of your account and all associated personal data
- You can disable location access at any time in your phone's app settings
- You can opt out of marketing notifications in the KHIDMAT app settings
7. Children's Privacy
KHIDMAT is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@khidmat.ng and we will delete it promptly.

KHIDMAT integrates with the following third-party providers to deliver its services:
